Bringing home the chickies

On April 19th, Kevin and I drove to NJ to Jersey Chicken hatchery. Full of excitement because we were on our way to pick up 3 silkie chick less than a week old. Once we arrived at the farm/hatchery we waited patiently in car until it was our turn. When the workers waved us over to let us know if was our turn, I practically leaped over the whole driveway. I could see so many cute farm animals surrounding us like goats, ducks, and pigs. A gentleman askd me for my shoe box and would return with our new chickies. My husband and I could barley hold our excitement in. When the nice man returned, we opened our box and saw for the first time our new family members.
