It's been a fun week so far. A new home arrived for The Three Amigos. They were getting bigger and bigger every day. Their feathers started changing. They lost some of the old ones, and new thicker feathers are now growing in. I also Switched to Pine bedding, because the hay was too rough for them to sleep on. They look much more comfortable now, sometimes they kick the pine chips into the corner and sleep on it. From my last post regarding Nag Chompa's new issue of always sleeping in the food bowl. I got a bowl that attaches to the side of the cage. That's one of Their favorite spots to jump up to. Yes, they are jumping and exercising more. They enjoy jumping over the swing now, and jump up into the bowl. I also gave them a ping pong ball to kick around. They aren't sure what to think of it yet. Below is a pic of Nag Chompa standing in the bowl. Below are his Amigos, Pigeon Toady (Grey) and Tic Tac, (White). In the next two week, I will preparing them for the outside, which means only using the heat lamp at night. Of course I can only do that on nights where is it above a certain degrees. Also, planning a warm day to let them explore the backyard. Stay tuned for more updates....
