Today I spent two hours putting together The Three Amigos' coop. They still have another 2-4 weeks, depending on how fast their adult feathers grow in. If it also's get too cold at night, i'll have to wait. My hope was to get the coop done with enough time to let them explore it and use the "chicken run". The chicken run is the screen in fenced area that allows the chickens to jump, skip, and flap their wing without having to hit one of their Amigos by accident. My husband and I worked together as a team by taking turns holding all the different parts and using the electric drill. Below are some pictures of the coop. Also a short video of the Thre Amigos exploring their furture coop. For now, on nice warms days, they will get a outdoor play time. Once we put up out security fence and the The Three Amigos have their adult feather, they will make their last transition into the final new home. enjoy the pics, leave a comment or ask a question :-)
